Movement Roundup · From Outright International

Funding, deadlines, and rulings for LGBTIQ activists, in one email

We send the grants, UN calls for input, events, and legal changes that activists and organizations share with us and that our own teams track. Each item says who it is for and, where there is a deadline, when it closes.

One featured item, then four short lists

  • Read

Reports, briefs, and toolkits, from Outright and from partner organizations.

  • Do

Grants, fellowships, and UN calls for input, with who can apply and by when.

  • Attend

Webinars, convenings, and events, with the date, time in UTC, and language.

  • Know

Court rulings, new laws, and policy changes, with what changes and when it takes effect.

Every item says who it is for, and anything with a deadline shows the closing date.

Who sends the Movement Roundup

Outright International has worked alongside LGBTIQ activists and organizations since 1990. We document human rights violations, provide funding and technical assistance to LGBTIQ-led organizations, and bring what activists tell us to the United Nations and regional bodies.

The Movement Roundup is one way we send something back: the deadlines, the money, and the decisions that change what you can do next.

You tell us what is happening, and we pass it on

The Movement Roundup is built from what activists and organizations send us. Reply to any issue or use the form below, and a person on our team reads it. If an item is useful to other groups, it goes in the next issue.

Questions

  • How often will I hear from you?

We send the Movement Roundup regularly. When something is time-sensitive, such as a closing deadline, an event, or a launch, we may send a separate short email. This form does not add you to fundraising appeals or our other newsletters.

  • What language is it in?

The email is in English. When an item is also available in other languages, we say which ones.

  • Is it safe to sign up?

We never publish the names of the people or organizations on this list. If your work email could be monitored, sign up with a personal address. Each issue arrives from “Neela Ghoshal, Outright International,” and the subject line can name LGBTIQ topics. You can leave your name and organization blank.

  • Can I stop at any time?

Yes. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.
